Yes, that's what I see through my window at the moment and it looks so good together with those old soviet time buildings below, would make a nice idea for an artwork, but I suppose I see ideas everywere, yesterday I saw a nice idea in a comb that was full of my hair (seriously, sometimes I wonder how haven't I gone bald yet) and it was raised against the window so that it looked like a silhouette resembling something like an aliens head
I had a very interesting weekend where I managed to unite intellectual relaxing with not so intellectual fun - like sitting in a pub and playing chess while drinking Jaegermeister. I love that game, too bad I'm not very good at it And the next evening I went to a museum to see an exibition of Goya's "Los Caprichos" it's like a book of his illustrations which cruely resemble the decadence and lack of moralty of the society in 19th century. It just happens that his most famous work is also my favorite one - [link] it's called "sleeping reason"(if I've translated it correctly) The idea isthat art is created of the union of imagination and common sense, but imagination without common sense/reason creates monsters.
I still haven't gotten any furter with my dress sewing project, firstly, because of the lack of free time and secondly because I cannot find a suiting fabric. I want a black & white striped fabric, (but with wide stripes) yet I don't know whether I should take a strechy fabric or not, probably will have to take the pattern and go to my old household/domestics (whatever it is called in English) teacher. But there are some more things I would like to sew - a jacket with this this kind of "swallow tail", that shouldn't be too hard, I'll just kind a nicely colored, long jacket in a random second hand shop and remake it, and then there's a type of necklace/collar I would like to make, oh, so much to do, so little time, so I suppose I'll have to postpone this till the end of December as I have a lot of schoolwork to be finished at the end of November/beginning of December. As for some new works to be posted .. well, have no idea. I've started a piece called "A dysharmonic creature" and then there are a few Warcraft fan arts I'd like to make + a work I promised to make for an old school mate and + a tatoo design for some other guy ... but, eh, I have never been very active with posting works here
